The 2011 Illinois State WITO event was again a huge success. Nestled in scenic Southern IL women came together from all over the Midwest and as far away as Michigan and Louisiana to experience the outdoors. Some women came to learn new things, some to do something they never had the courage to do before, and some just to enjoy a weekend away with girlfriends or family. The event offered a wide variety of classes that appealed to all ages and personalities including basket weaving, girls with tools, hiking, bee keeping, car maintenance, hand guns and Zumba to name a few. We had a unique group of women that ranged in age from 18 to 70. The 3-day event is growing each year with 80 women in attendance this year. Our goal is to have at least 100 in attendance in 2012 so come and join the FUN!
